This Ninja Foodi Max Multi-cooker review is a presentation of my research on the electric cooker made by Ninja a company known for high-end blenders. This multi-cooker claims to be good at converting chilled food to crispy delicious meals within a short time. It has a tender-crisp technology that gives the cooked meal a golden crisp finishing. It combines great pressure cooking and crisp finishing!

This cooker can prepare meals for a minimum of 4 people. It’s great for air frying, baking, crisp cooking, yogurts, roasting, and lots more! It’s easy to use and easy to clean as well. It’s quite weighty but doesn’t take up much space, once put at a corner in the kitchen it won’t require moving around. The tender-crisp is my main attraction, it’s quite fast and can roast a full-grown chicken in about 45mins!

It also has a keep warm feature that helps to keep the food warm after cooking.

9 one-touch programs

It has 9 easy to use one-touch bottons that make it easy to create unlimited recipes! Users can slowcook, grill, pressure cook, broil, steam, crisp cook and create unlimited recipes! All these can be done with one kitchen appliance! The crisp cook feature makes it unique!

Set and forget

You can put in ingredients and liquid in the pot, the all-in-one electric pressure cooker starts cooking at the set time, soon as the cooking is done it shuts off. This is a great feature for busy professionals, you can prepare dinner without spending too much time in the kitchen. All you need to do is put in ingredients and liquid in the pot, set the timer, it starts cooking at the set time and you can have dinner ready and warm before you get back home.

It has two lids, a lid that’s detachable from the Ninja foodi electric cooker and a lid that is hinged to the cooker. The two lids allow you to pressure cook and crisp in the same pot. With the hinged lid you can be sure your hands are safe when the pot is open, also since the lid is hinged to the pot it doesn’t take up extra space. 

The down side of having two lids is, when the pressure lid is not in use it takes up extra space and that might be a problem for users with smaller kitchen space.

The pressure lid can used for: steaming, pressure cooking, slow cooking and sear/sauté.

The crisping lid can be used for: air crisp,baking/roasting and grilling.

Dishwasher safe Accessories

Some parts are dishwasher safe, which makes it easy to wash after use. The accessories such a as the removable nonstick pot, cook and crisp basket are dishwasher safe, however the lids and cooker base are NOT dishwasher safe and should not be washed in a dishwasher.

Cooking Modes of the Ninja Foodi Max Multi-cooker

There are 9 different cooking moods and settings that users can choose from depending on their recipe. These are the 9 different settings;

1. Pressure Cook: this feature is great for tenderizing protein 
2. Air Fry: you can prepare meals in a healthier way, buy air frying. All you need to do is put in food and set it to air fry. 
3. Slow Cook: the slow cook feature allows you cook at a slow pace, up to 8 hours. It allows users have full control of the time setting and temperature.
4. Steam: Can be used in steaming protein or vegetables.
5. Bake/Roast: bake or roast in such a short while and do it in a healthy way! – I consider it healthier because less fat is used in cooking. You can place frozen chicken in the cooker, the cooker cooks it till it’s tender, then the crisp lid takes over and roasts it to a crisp golden yummy chicken!  
6. Sear/Sauté – The works much like using a stovetop, LO is used for simmering, MED is used for sautéing and HI is used for steaming or searing protein. 
7. Grill: Can be used for grilling protein. Grilling doesn’t require extra fat when using the Ninja foodie electric cooker.
8. Yoghurt – The ninja electric multi cooker is also a yogurt maker. It allows you perform two of important functions in yoghurt making, which is heating up the milk, and maintaining and even and consistent temperature during the fermentation process. 
9. Dehydrate – It can be used to dehydrate fruits such as bananas, apples, pineapples. All you need to do is put the fruits on the rack, using the dehydrate button and all other necessary functions you can dehydrate your fruits.

The Ninja foodi electric cooker comes with a cookbook that has lots of recipes for users to explore! The recipe book provides detailed instructions on how to prepare each meal using the Ninja foodie electric cooker. This all-in-one cooker makes sure users are not limited to these recipes though, they can create unlimited recipes themselves! The recipe book contains easy recipes, such as the cream pasta. You can easily find the ingredients at the supermarket. 

It also comes with a user manual to help users understand better how to use the appliance.

7.5 -liter Nonstick pot

The Ninja foodie electric cooker comes with a 7.5 liter nonstick cooking pot, which makes it easy to clean up after use, it is also dishwasher safe which makes it easy to wash after use. It’s big enough to prepare a meal for four. It is big enough to cook a 2kg sized chicken!

There are others sizes available, as the 6liter Ninja foodie electric cooker might be too big for single people that live alone.

Safety Features

It has a hinged lid for safety, that way your hands are safe from the steam while when the pot is opened. It’s made by a reliable company so users can be sure that careful attention was paid to make sure it is very safe for users.

Shut of system

It has a shut-off system that shuts off the system when a program is selected and cooking is done. There’s a pressure release button that should be tapped before opening the pot, the pressure release button helps keep your hands safe from the steam.

Digital Display

The Ninja foodie electric cooker has digital display. It clearly displays the time and setting when cooking. The digital timer digital timer regulates the cooking time and shuts off at the right time.

One-pot meals

Main meals and side meals can be cooked at the same time. Simply put main meal in the pot then place the reversible rack and place your protein or vegetables on the reversible rack to cook! This is quite an impressive feature! It saves cooking time when you cook both main meal and size at the same time! Busy moms will fine this useful!
